The McKell Institute is excited to announce the appointment of Veronica Newman as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Veronica brings more than 16 years’ experience across government, corporate and not-for-profit sector. Most recently, she served as Director of Government Relations and Policy at St Vincent de Paul Society NSW, where she led the organisation’s Government Relations and Policy work. She has a longstanding connection to McKell and its work having contributed as a Fellow of the McKell Institute since 2020.
Australia is hungry right now for good policy ideas and constructive debates and we’re excited about the potential for the Institute to contribute to both under Veronica’s leadership.
Veronica officially commences on 19 August.
