McKell Institute director Sam Crosby will highlight the sixth annual Illawarra Socratic Society (ISS) lecture.
Mr Crosby, the author of the book ‘The Trust Deficit’, will give a talk on ‘’A Place for Trust in Politics?’’ at the annual event at the Excelsior Hall in the Thirroul Community Centre on Wednesday, March 8 from 4-5.15pm.
The lecture is free but people must reserve their seat before the day by calling 4227 8191.
ISS convenor Eric Weddell said the previous five lectures had proven to be very successful and popular.
Mr Weddell said the society basically consisted of people interested in philosophy, who tended to meet in coffee shops in Thirroul. ISS also meets each Friday at Woonona Bulli RSL Club. It welcomed new members.
