Places, People and Prosperity: Building Strong Communities Across WA
Together with Town Team Movement, McKell WA was thrilled to host WA’s Deputy Premier and Treasurer, the Hon. Rita Saffioti MLA for our event: Places, People and Prosperity.
It was a thoughtful conversation about how Western Australia can continue to grow and diversify its economy while strengthening the communities that underpin that prosperity.
The Deputy Premier shared her reflections on the role infrastructure, planning and public spaces play in shaping strong communities. Drawing inspiration from the piazzas of Italy, she encouraged us to think about how we live beyond the walls of our homes – connecting with neighbours and building a shared sense of place.
