Think Tank calls for ‘portable service leave’

According to a new report out today, only one in four Australian workers now stay with the same employer for 10 years or more – the prerequisite for receiving long service leave.

With workers more mobile, long service leave has now become an entitlement that few of us ever receive..

But it doesn’t have to be that way, if long service, like superannuation, became a portable scheme for workers.
