I’m writing to let you know that after seven years I’ll be moving on from my role as CEO of the McKell Institute.
I’ve accepted a role as the Executive Director of Membership, Volunteers and Regional Affairs at the St Vincent de Paul Society of NSW and will begin work there from mid-December.
My time at McKell has been, without a doubt, the most fulfilling part of my career thus far. The Institute has grown enormously, with a footprint in Queensland and Victoria. And, most importantly, we’ve had a real impact on policy. So I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved.
I’m also extremely proud of the team we’ve built – our staff have been the secret to much of our success. So I’m pleased they’ll be remaining to help develop McKell through its next phase.
Over the coming weeks the board will select the next CEO.

Candidates will have until 5pm Friday 13th of November to provide a copy of their CV, along with a short letter outlining their experience and thoughts about the institute. Candidates will be shortlisted and then interviewed by the board’s selection panel.
